Spider-Man: No Way Home Trailer Officially Drops After Somebody Leaked it, Leaves Fans in a Frenzy!
The official trailer of Marvel’s most anticipated Spider-Man series is finally hitting the screens, leaving the fans thrilled. Earlier on Sunday night, somebody leaked the trailer on social media. Despite the fact that Marvel and Sony desperately tried to keep things under a cover, they couldn’t. The leaked trailer led to a crazy influx of memes on social media. However, the official trailer of the upcoming movie has finally made its way to your screens.
What the Trailer of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Has to Say?
Even if the entire script leaks online, the movie will still lead to a successful box office record. However, the leaked trailer led to a ton of unsubstantiated rumours.
The arrival of the ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ trailer a few hours ago has thrown fans into a wild, speculative frenzy. Somebody leaked the much-anticipated trailer. However, the quality of the video and audio was not good enough. So, many fans decided to wait for the original one. It was released a day after the leaked one.
This movie is one that fans have been waiting impatiently for since 2019, after the events of ‘Spiderman: Far From Home’ ended on a major cliffhanger. The movie saw Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, played by Tom Holland, dealing with the death of his mentor Iron Man, and the events that occurred after The Avengers reversed Thanos’s snap.
Peter meets the charming Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhall. As it turns out, Mysterio was trying to gain control of Stark Industries. Peter manages to defeat Mysterio, who dies right after the drone attack.
The movie ends with Mysterio exposing Spider-Man’s identity to the whole world. Then claiming that Spider-Man was responsible for Mysterio’s death.
Peter Park as “Public Enemy #1”
The No Way Home trailer picks up where the previous movie left off. Peter Parker now referred to as ‘Public Enemy #1’ and having to face an investigation by police into Mysterio’s death. There he is being accused of a murderer.
Now while anyone in the MCU has not confirmed this, fans are hopeful that the lawyer Peter will hire will be none other than Matt Murdock, from the popular Marvel series ‘Daredevil’, as the two hail from the same city. It is also rumoured that the actor, Charlie Cox, has been seen on the set of No Way Home. As a Marvel fan myself, I have to say I’m hoping for Daredevil to make a cameo too!
Daredevil, however, is not the only familiar face fans might be seeing. With the creation of the multiverse now introduced in the MCU after the events of the Disney+ series Loki, Peter Parker will be facing villains from the Spider-Man movies of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield! The multiverse is a concept that tells us our universe is only one of an infinite number of possibilities. So, Tobey and Andrew could be Spider-Men in another universe!
Joining us in this movie will be Doctor Octopus from Tobey Maguire’s franchise, played by Alfred Molina. Electro, played by Jamie Foxx from The Amazing Spiderman movies (where Andrew Garfield is Spider-Man) will also be making an appearance! With these two villains confirmed in the cast, it might not be too far-fetched to expect that Tobey and Andrew could come in to help Tom Holland’s Spider-Man too!
The cloud of dust combined with lightning in the trailer hints towards the arrival of Thomas Huden’s Sandman, and Willian Defoe as Green Goblin, as indicated by the green bomb that rolled next to a car.
Peter Parker Going to the Sorcerer Supreme For Help
Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will also be part of the movie. The trailer shows Peter Parker going to the Sorcerer Supreme for help, and the two of them somehow end up destroying the fragile reality further, most likely opening up the gateway for villains from other universes to enter!
Trailer Leaves the Fans With More Questions Than Answers!
This teaser trailer has definitely left fans with more questions than answers! Leave it to Marvel to know exactly how to develop an interest in their movies! Will Doctor Strange and Peter Parker be able to control the damage Mysterio left behind? Is the arrival of villains from the previous Spider-Man movies an indication that the two Spider-Men themselves will be appearing? What other problems lurk within the multiverse?
All of these questions and theories will only be answered once we enjoy the movie!
Spider-Man: No Way Home will release in cinemas worldwide on December 17th, 2021.
