Eligibility Criteria for School Teaching Internship Jobs
Qualification:
The educational requirements are following:
- PrimaryLevel: Matric with at least 2nd division
- ElementaryLevel: Intermediate with at least 2nd division
- Secondary & Higher Secondary Level: Bachelors (BA/B.Sc/BS) with at least 2nd division
Age Limitations:
- Male age limit falls between 20 years to 50 years
- However, the Female age limit falls between 20 years to 55 years.
What is the Salary Package for STIs
The salary package for School Teacher Internees is following,
- 18000 per month for Primary level. And, 20000 per month for Elementary teachers. Moreover, 25000 per month for Secondary STI’s. Also, 30000 per month for Higher Secondary level.
Territorial Eligibility
- Candidates who reside at the same area or village where school exist are only eligible to apply for School Teacher Interns.
- School Council Recruitment Committee shall verify the residential status through the residential certificates issued by village panchayat/ Neighbourhood Council.
Tenure of internship
The tenure of the internship is one academic session or a maximum of 9 months. If an internee resigns or is not willing to join, a chance will be given to the next candidate on merit.
Term of Internship
This is a contract based job that can be terminated by the selection authority at any time due to unsatisfactory performance.
Joining Period
The selected STI have to make sure acceptance of internship letter to school within seven days.
Leaves
Two casual leaves per month for STIs however these leaves are without stipend.
Transfer
The placement is non-transferable.
Experience Certificate
An experience certificate will be awarded to the candidate on successful completion of his/her internship period.
Performance and Attendance
- The school head teacher will maintain a separate attendance register for STIs. And also update the attendance on School Information System (SIS) on daily basis.
- Moreover, The performance of STIs will be checked through COT and ITSP.
Payment Method and Criteria for School Teaching Internship Jobs
The STIs will receive their salary only through their bank accounts. And it will be paid to the internees according to their attendance rate.
Ranking Criteria for Primary STIs
The ranking criteria for primary STI is following.
Matric: 55 Marks
Inter: 15 Marks
Graduation (2 Years): 15 Marks
Master: 10 Marks
BS: 25 Marks
Interview: 5 Marks
Total: 100 Marks
Ranking Criteria for Elementary STIs
Ranking criteria for elementary STI is following;
Matric: 15 Marks
Inter: 55 Marks
Graduation (2 Years) 15 Marks
Master: 10 Marks
BS: 25 Marks
Also, Interview: 5 Marks
Total: 100 Marks

Ranking criteria for secondary and higher secondary STI is following.
Matric: 15 Marks
Inter: 15 Marks
