Ramadan Iftar Recipes
Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg chopped boneless Chicken
- Oil (for deep frying)
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Garlic paste
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 chopped Onion
- ½ cup Plain flour
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
- 1-2 Eggs
Preparation
1.Take chicken pieces in a bowl.
2. Add garlic paste, black pepper, chopped onion, and salt to the bowl and mix all the ingredients well.
3. Add the mixed meat ingredients to a chopper to mince it well.
4. Put the prepared mixture in the fridge for a couple of minutes to set.
5. Make small nugget shapes from the meat dough.
6. Coat the nuggets in plain flour.
7. Beat an egg in another bowl and dip these nuggets in the egg and then coat in breadcrumbs.
9. Heat some oil in a pan at medium flame.
10. Deep fry the nuggets from both sides till they turn brown.
11. Take out the Fried nuggets from the pan on a plate.

Vegetable Pakoras
Ingredients
- 2-4 cups chickpea flour/ gram flour
- ½ teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Spinach/ cauliflower/ or any other vegetable
- 2 thinly sliced potatoes
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- ¾ cup water
- 2 sliced onions
- One cup of freshwater
- Oil for deep frying (sunflower oil, vegetable oil, etc)
Preparation
1.Choose your favorite vegetable for pakoras i.e cauliflower, and spinach, and wash it under tap water. Thinly slice the vegetable.
2. Add the chickpea flour into a bowl and put coriander, salt, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and garlic paste in it.
3. Gradually pour the water into the bowl of ingredients and mix to form a thick, and smooth batter.
4. Add vegetable oil to a large pan and heat it over a high flame.
5. Take small pieces of batter and put them in a hot oil pan one by one. Fry vegetable Pakora in small batches until golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes.
6. Drain on paper towels before serving.

Dry Fruit Milkshake
Ingredients
- 7 to 8 seedless/ unseeded Dates
- 2 to 3 dry Figs
- ¼ cup Walnuts
- ¼ cup Almonds
- Hot water
- 2-3 cups chilled milk
- Honey/ Brown sugar
Preparation
1.Soak all dry fruits in hot water for half an hour in separate bowls.
2. After 30 minutes, take all the dry fruits out of the water. Peel off the almonds.
3. Put all the dry fruits into a blender and add 1 tablespoon of honey in it.
4. Also, add half a cup of chilled milk to the blender and blend well.
5. Blend the ingredients until you get a thick smoothie.
6. Now add the remaining milk and blend again.
✓ Fresh, yummiest, & delicious dry fruit milkshake is ready for your Iftar.
Chicken Roll
Ingredients
For the inner filling:
- Chicken boneless 300 gm
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- ½ tbsp Tikka spice
- 2 – 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Garlic (chopped)
- Butter as required
- ½ tbsp garam masala
- Green chili, minced
- Salt to taste
- Coal 1 piece
For chapati:
- Wheat Flour 2 cup
- Salt a pinch
Preparation
1.Take 2 cups of flour in a bowl. Add fresh water & salt to it and mix well to make a smooth dough.
2. Place the dough in an airtight box and refrigerate for half an hour.
3. Take small balls from the dough and make thin circular chapatis.
4. Cook the chapatis one by one on a pan until done.
5. In another bowl, add cubed chicken, chopped garlic, tikka spice, and lemon juice and mix them well.
6. Melt butter on a pan and fry the mixture of chicken.
7. Put a piece of burning coal and drizzle a few drops of oil over it.
8. Immediately cover the fried chicken and let it sit for 5 minutes.
9. Now, take a chapati, put 2-3 tbsp of chicken over it, and roll it. Make chicken rolls from all the remaining chapatis one by one.
