Muhammad Rizwan along with Babar Azam opened the innings for Pakistan. Babar Azam got out early in this game. Rabada dismissed him on 15 runs on 12 balls. Muhammad Rizwan was also not able to capitalize on the start that he got. After scoring 19 runs on 19 balls he was dismissed by Nortje.
Fakhar Zaman came at no 3. He with Muhammad Hafeez tried to build a partnership. But Hafeez’s poor form continues with the bat. He was unable to rotate the strike. He manages to score 13 runs on 14 balls. Shoaib Malik came at no 5. He played an innings of 28 runs on 20 balls.
Fakhar Zaman continues where he left from the previous game. He was the only batter that looked settled in the warm-up game. He scored 52 runs on 28 balls with the help of two fours and five sixes. After scoring 50, he was retired hurt to give opportunities to the other batsmen.
Asif Ali also played a little cameo of 32 runs on 18 balls. He hit 2 fours and 2 sixes. Pakistan finished their innings at the score of 186 runs in twenty overs with the loss of 6 wickets. It was a brilliant performance from Pakistan with the bat. Fakhar Zaman and Asif Ali knock helped Pakistan to achieve that score.
South Africa Bowling
South African bowlers started brilliantly with the ball. They dismissed both openers in the powerplay but they couldn’t able to stop the flow of runs. Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Nigidi bowled well. Rabada picked three wickets for just 28 runs. It was a tough outing for some bowlers like Anrich Nortje and Fortin. Both of them were hit all around the ground by Fakhar. Tabraiz Shamsi only bowled 4 deliveries and went out of the ground due to injury.
South Africa Batting
Quinton De Kock and Reeza Hendricks opened the innings for South Africa. They both got out in the same over. Imad Waseem dismissed both the openers. South Africa was 15-2 after 3 overs.
Temba Bavuma and Rassie Van der Dussen took the innings forward and build the partnership of 107 runs. Van Dussen was aggressive in this partnership and Bavuma rotate the strike. Bavuma got out on 46 runs in 42 balls. This partnership was broken by Shaheen Shah Afridi. Henrich Klaasen played a little cameo of 14 runs on 8 balls. He was bowled by Shaheen Afridi.
Rassie van der Dussen played an unbelievable inning of 101 runs not out and won the game for South Africa single-handedly. He scores at the strike rate of almost 200. He hit 10 fours and 4 sixes in the innings.
South Africa chased the target on the last ball and won the match by six wickets. Van Dussen’s innings helped them to win the game from 45/2 in 8 overs.
Pakistan Bowling
Pakistan was poor in their death bowling. Pakistan after taking early wickets struggled to take the wicket. Imad Waseem and Shaheen Afridi took 2 wickets each. Hassan Ali and Haris Rauf leaked too many runs in the death overs. Hassan Ali conceded 52 runs in his 4 overs. Shadab Khan was again wicketless and looked completely out of touch.

All in all, Pakistan is only themselves to blame for this loss. After the runs on the board and the brilliant powerplay with the ball, they were bossing the game. But Van Dusen single-handedly took the match away from Pakistan with his brilliant power-hitting. But both top-order and lower-order are still a concern for South Africa.
