India once again involved in financing terrorism in Pakistan. Officials announced Indian involvement in the Lahore blast. The blast took place on 23rd June 2021. It was around 11;00 AM local time when the nefarious plan was implemented and a car explosion led to the death of three, leaving 22 injured.
However, within 16 hours of the blast, the CTD Punjab was successful in identifying the suspects. Some of the suspects were found to have dual nationality. Further investigation revealed the actual impetus behind the attack that was the RAW- Research Analysis Wing. RAW is an intelligence agency of India. This proved the fact that India is still feeding terrorism in Pakistan.
National Security Advisor Dr Moeed Yusuf conducted a press conference in the presence of Fawad Chaudhary. He was confident enough to explain that the mastermind was an Indian citizen who belonged to RAW behind Lahore’s Johar Town blast.
“The IG said we have intelligence of foreign intelligence agency, so today without a doubt I want to say, [the circumstances] of this entire attack lead to Indian-sponsored terrorism,”

The NSA was sure of this due to forensic analysis. He further mentioned that this time they have concrete evidence that prove the RAW sponsorships of these terrorists.
Deaths in Lahore’s Johar Town blast:
The blast led to three deaths in Lahore.
- Abdul Haq – a six years old
- Abdul Malik- a fifty years old (father of Abdul Haq)
- A passerby
All the leaders of Pakistan condemned the act and considered India behind the constant disturbance in peace. Further, they mentioned that the country aids in financing and training the terrorists to enhance the terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
FM’s stance on Indian involvement in the Lahore blast
FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi while speaking to Geo News mentioned that Pakistan has been raising its voice to bring international vigilance towards India promoting terrorism in the state. Moreover, he urges FATF to investigate India’s involvement in terror financing.
“If [FATF] doesn’t bring India to task, then it shows its double standards, and Pakistan has a right to raise an objection regarding these double standards,”

The fact that is Indian involvement in Lahore blast must be highlighted on an international level. A timely notice could have reduced the Indian-financed terrorist activities in Pakistan. However, this is high time the global politics must understand the Indian controversies and their agencies funding terrorism. He further added.
