The circumstances became worst when Israeli forces attacked the civilians worshipping in Masjid- Al-Aqsa. The Israeli forces broke into the mosque on 10th May (Last Jummah of Ramadan) and started killing weaponless Palestinians.
Moreover, the world officials remained silent on this issue. As a result, Hamas warned Israel to withdraw and started firing rockets on Israel. The killing in Israel is very less as compared to the brutality in Gaza.

The conflict led to big destruction. Moreover, the officials also said that it would take a lot of time to rebuild the destruction in Palestine. Israel and Hamas both assured a ceasefire on 21st May 2021 at 2:00 am, the local time.
As a result, the Palestinians came out of their homes. They were happy and celebrated the ceasefire. The citizens waved the Palestinian flag and fired into the air. However, the conflict remains at the same place. The issue between Israel and Gaza needs a permanent solution.
The after-effects of the ceasefire are still unknown. People worldwide, especially Palestinians, want a permanent solution to this issue. The truce came into effect for up to 24 hours. The dire humanitarian condition in Gaza and war in Palestine worsened after the 11-day dispute.
