For a very long time, Pakistan has successfully taken the edge of terrorism to a great extent. However, we are unable to eradicate it completely. Recently, reports claim that this was caused due to gas leakage. On July 14, Mansehra met an unfortunate incident “Dasu Bus Tragedy.” The question is who was behind the Dasu incident? Dasu Incident: A coach carrying workers to the field fell into a ravine as a result of the explosion. It led to the death of thirteen people including both Chinese and Pakistanis. Whereas it led to the injury of 28 people. DAWN news reported the following deaths:

- Members of FC: two
- Locals: two
Eyewitnesses at the Dasu Bus Tragedy
There were people who witnessed all of the happenings. According to one of them, eight kilometers from the headquarters of Dasu district, there is Barseen Camp. The bus picked up Chinese laborers from here. Three vehicles in a convoy were on their way to Dasu dam when the explosion occurred in the Upper Kohistan area.

Post Dasu incident measures
Soon after the blast, Pakistan Army helicopters reached the destination and transferred the injured ones to the Gilgit and Abbottabad military hospitals. In the meanwhile, police geo-fenced the whole suspected area.
Further, the foreign office mentioned, Pakistan is highly concerned about Chinese nationals. Moreover, DC Arif earlier mentioned that a proper investigation would take place. Today, the public security minister of China, Zhao Kezhi contacted Sheikh Rasheed (interior minister of Pakistan) to discuss the Dasu Bus Tragedy investigations.
Half an hour, the telephonic conversation between Sheikh Rasheed and Zhao Kezhi led to the discussion of the incident. Firstly, Imran Khan had already called Chinese Premier Li Keqiang to assure him about the fact that investigations will proceed for sure.
Chinese company refuses to work on Dasu Dam mentioning security reasons
The recent Dasu bus tragedy had put up an adverse effect on the project. Gezhouba, a Chinese company earlier working on the Dam project wrote a refusal letter to the Government of Pakistan. They further mentioned that they had to stop the work due to security reasons.
Moreover, project head Anwar-ul-Haq confirmed the letter. He also mentioned that working would resume as soon as the security issues are settled down. However, Fawad Chaudhary revealed that explosives were a part of the incident.
Sheik Rasheed in one of his press conferences mentioned that PM Imran Khan had ordered the Foreign Minister to visit China the very next day. Moreover, a 15 membered team for investigation had arrived that visited the site of the Dasu incident.
Internationally, Pak-China friendship is well-recognized. Both governments are well aware of their enemies. However, they will never forgive the enemies mentioned, Sheik Rasheed. The loss of Chinese and Pakistani families will be investigated. The investigators would definitely make the results public once they conclude it. Let’s wait and see what fate decides for them both.
