Pakistan Defence Day Speech for Students #1:

Respected Principal, teachers, and my friends, Assalam-o-Alaikum!

First of all, I would like to thank our host for inviting me to the stage. It is my honor to deliver a speech in front of the worthy Principal, honorable teachers, and my dear classmates. I will begin my speech by describing to you the pains and sacrifices to achieve this country “Pakistan”. When the British took over in 1857, Muslims were the victim of British cruelty. In such times, leaders like Quaid-e-Azam, Allama Iqbal, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, Liaqat Ali Khan, and Chaudhary Rehmat Ali worked hard days and nights to get us a separate homeland for our welfare.

When we achieved Pakistan with thousands of deaths already, 14 August migration caused more sorrows as the deaths of hundreds of thousands of humans happened in this migration. Finally, Pakistan became stable after early sacrifices. But Kashmir was taken away from us. We started to develop schemes to get Kashmir.

Then something happened on 6 September dawn which was harsher than ever.

Dear Friends, India attacked Pakistan at 3 am without any declaration or warning. Pakistanis were shocked. It was the time to defend the country. Our soldiers did not bow down to the shock and replied to them in a befitting manner. We destroyed their tanks, check posts, and aircraft. M. M. Alam set the example of excellence on 7 September. He shot down 5 Indian hunter aircraft with F-86 which is still a record. Not only that, Major Raja Aziz Bhatti wrote the tale of bravery with his blood. He got Nishan-e-haider for his valor which saved Lahore.

All the efforts and misadventures of the Indian army gave them nothing in the end. Indian destroyed tanks are still in a Pakistani Museum today. Pakistanis visit them and take pride that our army did not let any of them damage our cities.

Respected audience, it is due to our soldiers’ blood that we can celebrate defence day today. Our army has not only protected us from enemies but also saved us many times during flood or earthquake situations. Our army has been defending us and our homeland for decades. Their blood is the foundation of our freedom. Let us pray that Pakistan continues to exist till Judgement Day. Long Liver Pakistan! Long Live Pak Army!

Pakistan army soldiers have defended our homeland every time not just 6 September.
Pakistan army soldiers have defended our homeland every time, not just on Defence day.

Defence Day Speech for Students in English #02:

Respected Principal, teachers, and classmates, Good Morning and Assalam-o-Alaikum!

We all have gathered here today to celebrate the victory of the 1965 war. This war is the golden chapter in our history of achievements. On 6 September, we not only defeated the enemy but also successfully defended our homeland and sovereignty. We gave the proper answers to our enemy’s aggression. Our soldiers laid their lives to protect every inch of Pakistan.

Dear friends, we not only defeated them on land but also in the air as well. Our pride M. M. Alam crushed Indian feeling of “air superiority.” He shot down 5 Indian aircraft. Major Raja Aziz Bhatti became the symbol of courage due to his bravery in the war. He received Nishan-e-Haider which was then made from the metals of the enemy’s weaponry.

On this auspicious day, we also must not forget our Kashmiri Brothers and sisters.

Respected audience, Indian Occupied Kashmir has been the focus of Pakistan as the country claims that India is holding Kashmir illegally. FIght for freedom in Kashmir has been going on for decades. But the past two years are the most severe ones. Two years ago, on 5 August, the special status of Kashmir was abolished and it officially became part of India according to India’s constitution. There is the restriction of movement, liberty, speech, and even eating. Politicians are in jail and a curfew is in place. We fully understand Kashmir’s problems. Every Pakistani’s heart is with them. And we pray for their happiness and peace.

Dear friends, lastly I want to talk about today’s theme and what pledges should we make. As you know the Theme of today’s event is defence day or as we call in Urdu “Youm-e-difa.” Let’s all take a pledge that we will defend our country from anything which can prove to be harmful to our homeland. Moreover, we should pledge that we will study, get knowledge and become good citizens of Pakistan. Also, we should make a promise to ourselves that we will follow the rule Quaid-e-Azam has given to us,” Unity, faith, and discipline.” I firmly believe that by following Quaid’s guidance, we can truly make Pakistan a progressive country that we all desire to see.

Once again, thank You for inviting me to the stage. I am ending my speech on two of our most popular slogans: Pakistan Zindabad! Pakistan Paindabad!

6 September Speech for Students of Class 5 #03:

Respected Principal, teachers, seniors, and my friends, Assalam-o-Alaikum!

It is a great honor for me that I am giving a speech in front of all of you. Let me introduce you to my topic first. The topic of my speech is “Pakistan Defence day.” To begin with, I would like to ask why we celebrate defence day in the first place. What is the need to celebrate defence day? The answer is simple. We celebrate defence to show the world that we are a peaceful country. And that, when any country attacks us, we know how to defend ourselves. This day is also necessary as on this day, we give the message to the whole world that no power can undo Pakistan.

Respected audience, the whole world saw what we could do on that day. Our soldiers fought valiantly against the army which was larger in number. We should not limit this day to the Indo-Pak war. Without a doubt, the Pakistan army defended Pakistan efficiently. But we must expand the scope and include one more major thing. We must also celebrate this day to acknowledge Army’s sacrifices against the fight against terrorism. Operation Zarb-e-Azab and Raddul Fassad are the perfect examples of our army’s capabilities. Our soldiers with their blood saved Pakistan from bloodshed. Moreover, they saved thousands of children to become orphans.

Every Pakistani on defence day should thank our soldiers at LOC for their services.

We Must Change our Attitude towards Pakistan

Respected audience, in the end, it is the perfect time that I tell you what should be your attitude towards Pakistan. We must become loyal citizens of Pakistan. We must leave those who talk against our army and our ideology. Also, we must work hard on ourselves to become true Pakistani. Dear friends, the current condition of Pakistan paints a sad picture. Corruption is everywhere now and our politicians are not doing the right things.

Pakistan is always in the news of something bad. It has tarnished our image. We all should promise ourselves that we will do something to improve Pakistan’s image. Changing our attitude and molding it in the light of our forefather’s guidance is the first step. May God help us in doing it. Thank you for your time and Pakistan Zindabad!
