5 Quick Tea Time Snack Recipes
Chicken Nuggets
Ingredients
- Chicken breast fillets
- ½ cup Milk
- ½ cup Lemon Juice
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 cups Bread crumbs
- 3 tbsp Soya sauce
- 1/4 cup Chopped spring onions
- 1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
Cooking Method
1.In a small bowl, make the buttermilk by mixing milk with lemon juice.
2. Marinate the chicken pieces in buttermilk.
3. Cover the chicken pieces with plastic wrap and leave in the refrigerator overnight. This will tenderize the chicken.
4. Drain and discard the buttermilk.
5. Grind the marinated chicken, egg, spring onions, Parmesan cheese, soya sauce, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice, salt and pepper well.
6. Now, shape this mixture into 2-inch nuggets.
7. Coat the nuggets with flour, then dip in egg, and again coat with breadcrumbs.
8. Heat oil in a pan, put the coated nuggets into the pan and deep fry for 5-6 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Delicious Chicken Nuggets are ready. Serve with your favorite sauce and lemon juice.
Crispy Chicken Broast
Ingredients
- 8 Chicken pieces
- ½ cup Buttermilk
- 2 tbsp Salt
- Oil for frying
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- ½ tbsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Red chili powder
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- ½ tbsp Green chili powder
- ½ tbsp Black pepper powder
Cooking Method
1.Mark cuts on chicken pieces slightly.
2. Now marinate them with salt, buttermilk, green chili powder, flour and garlic powder.
3. Mix all the coating ingredients and sieve it.
4. Now put the chicken pieces in the mixture one by one and set them for 30 minutes more.
5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces by covering for 20-25 minutes or till cooked well golden brown.
6. Pick out the crispy chicken broast from the pan and stain it on kitchen paper.

Chicken Spinach Cutlets
Ingredients
- 500g Chicken mince
- 500g Spinach
- Salt as per requirement
- Coriander leaves
- Mint leaves
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup boiled Peas
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp other spice powder
- 2 Bread slices
- 100g cheddar cheese
- ½ cup sweet corn
- 2 spring onions
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
Cooking Method
1.Chop the chicken mince very well.
2. Add salt and ginger garlic paste in chopped chicken and mix well.
3. Add red pepper, spice powder, bread slices, spring onion, sweet corn and egg into the chopped chicken mince and again chop it very well.
4. Put this mixture in a bowl and add boiled peas and chopped spinach.
5. Mix all the ingredients well and make small cutlets of the mixture.
6. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the cutlets till golden brown.
7. Serve the Chicken Spinach Cutlets with your favorite sauce.
Crispy Fish & Chips
Ingredients
- 500g Boneless fish
- Oil for frying
- 500g Potatoes
- 1 tbsp chilli sauce
- ½ cup Mayonnaise
- 2 packet crispy fry mix
Cooking Method
1.Add ¼ cup of water to 3 tsp of crispy fry mix and blend it well.
2. Dry the boneless fish and coat in the dry crispy fry mix.
3. Dip the fish pieces in the prepared batter and coat it in the crispy fry mix again.
4. Heat oil in a pan and fry fish fillets on medium heat for 10 minutes or until golden brown and take out the fried fish on a plate.
5. In a bowl, add mayonnaise, chilli sauce and 4 tbsp of water and mix it well.
6. Add ¼ cup of water to 3 tbsp of crispy fry mix and blend well.
7. Now coat the potato wedges in the crispy fry dry mix and also dip in the prepared batter then coat again in the dry mix again.
8. Deep fry the coated potato wedges in hot oil for 10 minutes or until crispy.
9. Take out the crispy potato chips from oil and drain on kitchen paper.
10. Your delicious Crispy Fish & Chips are ready, serve it with prepared sauce.
